- Aunt Lori - "RoRo"
- Phoenix - "NeeNee"
- Daddy - "Dah-unh" (This one is a bit hard to describe. For some reason, Fox chokes off the last syllable in "Daddy" and it makes an unusual sound, like he's trying to sound out a word that starts with the letter "N,")
- Mommy - "Mah-Mah"
- Wow - "Waah"
- Papa - "Papa"
- Love you - "Wuh-oo"
- Ball - "Bahw"
- Bye-Bye - "Bye-Bye"
- Juice - "Oose"
- Bible - "Bi-boo"
- Blue - "Boo"
He also likes to say "Whoa," "Uh-oh," "Oh no," and "Ee I Ee I Oh."
He's also doing a great job of making his animal sounds. Right now, he can tell us what each of the following animals sound like:
- Dog
- Sheep
- Pig (I love to watch him do his pig impression. He puts one hand up to his nose, then makes one brief snorting sound.)
- Cow
- Duck
- Elephant (This really isn't a sound. All he does for elephant is hold one arm straight up in the air, mimicking the elephant's trunk.)
- Monkey (Again, this one isn't a sound, but a gesture. He will usually slap his hand to his chest for monkey.)
I'm loving the stage that Fox is in right now. He's still part baby and part little boy. I love this early toddler stage. I'm hoping he will stay my little baby as long as possible, but I realize that those days are rapidly coming to an end. He's already wanting to do everything Phoenix does. He watches his older brother and wants to do everything he does. He's definitely fun to watch.
