To say that it was hot today is an understatement. Heat indexes this past week have been in the low 100's. From 7am-12pm today Wendy and I had a garage sale here at the house, so I was feeling pretty grimy by lunchtime. Then, this evening, we got the boys outside to cool off in the sprinkler. Wendy and I worked in the natural area trimming branches while the boys played. Phoenix soon wanted to help us cut the branches, so he joined me in the natural area. Take a wet 3 yr. old, add dirt and grass (and a lot of humidity) and you have a dirty kid. It was soon time for bath.
For a change of pace, I bathed Phoenix in our jacuzzi tub. He wanted to turn on the jets and as soon as I did, the little bit of soap that was in the water got churned into a mountain of fluffy bubbles. He loved it (although he lost his little ship a few times under all the soapy goodness).
