Preparing for Baby #2

All is going well at The Till's for the month of July. My pregnancy with baby #2 is going really well. I just had a checkup yesterday and everything was great. Baby #2's heartbeat was 161. I turn 14 weeks on Friday and can't believe I am already into my 2nd trimester, wow, it has gone by fast already! We find out August 10th if we are having a boy or girl!!! So excited...I have no idea, some days I have the boy feeling and some days I have the girl feeling...will be glad to know for sure in August!

By this time in my pregnancy with Phoenix we had his room pretty much done. Not so with Baby #2. I feel as though we are neglecting this baby somewhat, but all of my friends tell me that is normal because you are already Mom to another child and tending to him comes first. So that makes me feel better. I still feel like we have so much to do.

We have had our house on the market since May with no luck so far in selling it. We are fine to stay where we are, but would love a little more space...if it's meant to work out it will. If we have not sold the house by Thanksgiving we are staying put for a while. Regardless of whether we move or stay I am already in the process of coming up with ideas for Baby #2's room. The new baby's room will be our former guest bedroom (we never have guest come stay anyway...) Last night I took the bed down and started cleaning out everything...the problem with this room is, this was our last remaining room with LOTS of storage space inside the closet...now a lot of that stuff is going to have to go somewhere else...hummmm....

Since we don't know whether it's boy or girl yet, Clint & I have been looking at bedding for both. I tell you boy bedding is so much easier for me to like & go with something quickly...girl bedding is the opposite...I don't like anything I have seen so far, except for online and a couple at Pottery Barn Kids. I am extremely picky when it comes to girl stuff. Most of the stuff we have seen is extremely overloaded with stuff all over the bedding. If we have a girl I want her room to be soft & sweet with accents of bunny rabbits (since I have a big collection of them)!
Here are some of the bedding choices we like for a boy:

For a girl, I really like these, so far I have not found a whole lot else that I really like.

Thanks for checking in. Hope everyone is doing well.
