We were so excited to get tickets to the Playhouse Disney Live Show at the BJCC Concert Hall. We kept telling Phoenix all morning, "We are going to see Mickey today!" I don't think he quite knew what to think about what we were saying until we got there. We have all of the characters at home and we let him choose which one he wanted to take with him and he chose Donald.
When we first got there, he really liked running around in the courtyard looking at the waterfalls they have there and watching the other kids. We waited for Cousin Isabelle and once she got there we went inside. He was mesmerized by all of the kids, toys, lights, etc...going on inside and that was just before the show started.
He sat very still for a while once the show started and then we told him it was about time for Mickey to come and out and he really got still and waited for Mickey. When Mickey came on stage it took Phoenix about 5 seconds to react. Once he processed that was him, he pointed and his mouth dropped and he said "Ohhhhhhh". It was so cute. Clint & I loved watching him and the joy & excitement that it brought him.
It was a quick show, just 1 hour 15 minutes which was a perfect time for wiggle wormy kids. At the end of the show they sang the Hot Dog song several times and everyone stood up to dance. When the song was over, Phoenix kept signing "More" "More"! He wanted to keep singing and dancing it was so cute. Once we left Clint & I had Hot Dogs on the brain and we stopped for a quick hot dog and back home. Phoenix was worn out from seeing all of his favorite Disney characters. What a Hot Dog Day!

I can just imagine how still he was and how much he loved it..that is the only time I get him still over here is when we watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!! I am surprised he choose Donald Duck to go with him instead of Mickey Mouse! I love the pictures
